Slingfield Mill, Premier Inn

L+S+H Architects were commissioned by Henderson Global Investors to extend and adapt the Grade II Listed former carpet mill at Weavers Wharf to accommodate a department store at ground/first floor levels with a Central Premier Inn located on the floors above.

This converted mill has a rich history and the carefully preserved original features found throughout the Premier Inn’s rooms, restaurant and bar mean the finished hotel is wonderful mix of period character combined with modern facilities.



The imaginative adaption of Slingfield Mill ensures that the useful life of this important Listed building has been preserved thus retaining the building’s historic interest for future generations.
