The reconfiguration and reorganisation of an existing city-centre shopping mall to create a diverse and vibrant retail and leisure offer. The proposals create an improved public square around St Andrews Church, Cambridge flanked by new food and beverage restaurants and reinvented entrances.

Scheme Overview

The 97,000 sq ft scheme involves the conversion of surplus office space into a new 125 - key hotel with a new entrance from Guildhall Street with views to Kings College and Caius College. A new nightclub is created in fallow basement space which will play a key role in the city's evening economy.

Scheme Consultation

The scheme involved extensive stakeholder engagement, with consultations undertaken with Cambridgeshire County Council, City Council, St Andrews Church and key tenants, leading to successful securing of planning consents. Construction 2020.
